A gate valve is a valve whose closing part (gate) moves in the vertical direction along the center line of the passage. Gate valves can only be used for full opening and full closing in pipelines, and cannot be used for regulation and throttling. Gate valves are a kind of valve with a wide range of uses. Generally, it is also used for cutting devices with a diameter of DN ≥ 50mm. Sometimes, gate valves are also used for cutting devices with very small diameters. Elastic seat seal gate valves (soft seal gate valves) have better sealing performance and are the preferred products for environmental protection and water supply and drainage industries.
