The closing part of the flange ball valve is a sphere, which rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close. Ball valves are mainly used in pipelines to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of media. The flange ball valve standard GB/T21465-2008 defines it as a valve in which the opening and closing parts (ball) are driven by the valve stem and rotate around the axis of the valve stem.
It is suitable for use as opening and closing valves on pipelines with non-corrosive media such as water, steam, oil, etc. with an operating temperature of 150°C. The ball valve has small fluid resistance, good sealing performance and wear resistance. Its biggest advantages are easy operation and rapid opening and closing. Industry applications: petrochemical industry, mining smelting, papermaking and steelmaking, water conservancy and electricity, textile printing and dyeing, building energy and plumbing and high temperature boiler accessories.
