Compressed air is what pneumatic switches and valves use to operate. It is compressed air that has been crammed into tanks and pushed through pipes to other areas of a system. The stored air is released when the pneumatic switch or valve switches on (or gets activated). When it lets this air out, movement and pressure is created. The air pushes and moves these things in a way that it can trigger other parts of the machine, like cylinders that can push and pull things. Safe — The sparking switches and the valves always give a huge problem to deal with. This is super important since sparks could be deadly in certain situations (like factories full of flammable products).
Drop in pressure – If there is a blockage of filters or broken valves in the system, then drop in pressure will occur. The filters have to remain clean else pressure drops would become an issue. Routine inspections will allow you to replace any worn gears at the earliest time possible.
Extended response time — If the system responds slowly, internal clogging of orifice plates, creating damaged valves. Clearing the orifice plates and changing any dysfunctional valves can make the system reactivity a little bit faster.
